MEET SHANDI
Shandi has worked in the Hospitality industry for over 15 years and has held many positions; from Banquet Server to Bartender, to Food & Beverage Manager, to Event Manager, before joining Twelfth Night Events in 2017.
Her experience within the industry makes her an invaluable partner in planning, as she understands the finer details and logistics surrounding all things food and beverage and intricate venue-related considerations. Her devotion to the industry and extensive knowledge have become an incredibly valuable asset to our clients.
Get to know Shandi on a personal level: Shandi is a HUGE T-Swift fan. She has been to every concert on her tours and even had the chance to meet her in 2007. Shandi is married to her high school sweetheart, Tyler, who she married in June 2018 (Lauren was her Wedding Planner) and they recently expanded their family. She loves her fur baby Rocco, and all dogs for that matter, and will always stop to pet a friendly dog.
Director of Events & Lead Planner
Originally from the GTA, Lauren began her career working for major restaurant chains and five-star hotels, where her passion for event planning sparked. She received her certification as an International Wedding Planning Professional in 2010 and has been actively planning weddings ever since.
Lauren is meticulous with the details and her passion will be apparent from your very first meeting. She is exceptionally creative, witty, loves a dry sense of humour, and believes that event planning should be fun. Bonding with her clients and maintaining a lasting friendship are high on her list of importance, all while maintaining a high level of professionalism at every opportunity.
Get to know Lauren on a personal level: When Lauren isn’t working, she can most often be found at home designing websites, interiors, and her wedding venue. She loves the Real Housewives of everywhere + anything on Bravo, spending time with her daughter and husband, and sipping on a chilled glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc.
MEET LAUREN
Creative Director & Lead Designer
With Graphic Design being at the forefront of Vanessa's skillset, she joined our team in 2021 as our in-house graphic designer and coordinator. Her years of experience working with major brands in the health and fitness sectors have built a strong foundation for design.
After meticulously planning her own wedding, with Twelfth Night Events helping along the way, her passion for events and beautiful design possibilities was ignited and she quickly joined our team to help bring thoughtful design to our clients. Vanessa's love for all things weddings allows her to hold 2 positions with our team: graphic designer and event coordinator. Her organization skills and driven work ethic make her an exceptional force for our team.
Get to know Vanessa on a personal level: Newly married, Vanessa enjoys spending her free time with her Husband, Tyler. Vanessa is an avid crafter and loves to design stationery for weddings, often assisting our clients with their wedding invitations.
